About Us:
We are Fine Art Trade Guild Commended Framers who specialise in conservation framing to the highest standards and have been framing all manner of art for over 18 years
Arte has recently moved their bespoke framing workshop from Weybridge, to a new purpose built workshop at Rye Harbour Village.
The almost overwhelming numbers of mouldings on display offer a vast choice of framing options from traditional styles to the latest creations from around the world. Our understanding of colour and texture is not surprising as Sally, who does most of the framing consultations, studied fashion and textiles at college and went on to obtain a degree in Fine Art. As an artist herself she has empathy with both the artist and what the client is looking for.
“We have had many pictures framed by Mike and Sally over the last few years and we would not go anywhere else. Their individual talents work together to make sure you get the best setting to enhance a picture. They clearly love their work and spend loads of time with you working out what to do with everything from a family photo to a complicated restoration piece.
We have thrown lots of challenging works at them and they transformed them in to pictures that we will treasure for, well, probably generations. We are shortly moving to Australia and we will be sending valued pieces to them for framing”

We enjoy an enviable reputation for our unique style and service coupled with the quality of our work. We are dedicated to providing our customers with sound advice, imaginative solutions and a superior product. We will do their utmost to understand your ideas and interpret your requirements. Our experience and expertise combined with a pragmatic approach to problem solving enables us to frame almost anything to a very high standard.
Over the years we have framed just about every kind of memorabilia that it is possible to frame, rugby shirts, medals, antique carpets, hats, football boots and ballet shoes to name but a few. We have archived complete collections worth tens of thousands of pounds to museum standards. It is the use of such materials as anti ultra violet glass and cotton rag mountboard which helps preserve valuable and sentimental work that really inspires us. Because we care, we use approved conservation framing techniques on all artwork we frame. As we say “Your art will be in safe, qualified hands.”
